Fact Sheet: Outcomes for Young, Black Men

All children deserve a happy and healthy future. We must make sure our Families, Schools and Communities help form a pathway together to ensure this happens for all. We are all responsible for our children's success. Caregivers are responsible! Children are responsible. Teachers are responsible and so is the school and community in which our children grow. Caregivers are the child's first teacher. What is taught at home lays the foundation for which children grow from. What are your values, expectations, beliefs? What actions does your child see? When we accept our own responsibility, have open communication, clear expectations, high standards and supports in place that are working, we are uplifting our children and everyone benefits. We must all work together. It takes a village to raise a child! Please share in this village with me!
